Do I own my own domain name?
Yes, you are the registered owner of the domain name. Your name will be
listed as the registrant and you will be able to alter all four contact
fields as you wish.
How long is it registered for?
All domains have a 1 year minimum, but you can register them
for as long as 10 years.
If I register a new domain name, how long
is it before I can start using it?
As soon as you submit your order, we register your name for you. It
usually takes between 48 and 72 hours for your new domain name to propagate
throughout the Internet.
What happens when my domain name is about to expire?
You will be notified that your domain name is registration is about to
end to allow you enough time to renew your registration before
it expires.
Can I get a refund if I misspelled the domain name
when I ordered it?
After
the domain has been registered, we are unable to change or edit the
spelling. The domain name will be registered EXACTLY
as entered and charges will be incurred the moment the domain name is
submitted. Domain name registrations are non-refundable.
My domain name has expired! Am I too late to renew
it?
In most cases, registrars offer at least a 14 day grace period
after a domain name has expired. If the domain name is not renewed
within that grace period, the domain will become available. Check
with your current registrar as each grace period is different.
I already have a domain name. Can I still host with
you?
Yes! Once your hosting account
is setup, we will give you the proper DNS settings to change for your
domain. It's simply a matter of going to your domain name registrar and
changing two pieces of information. This will "point" your domain name
to our servers. It is not necessary to transfer your domain name.
