Frequently Asked Questions

1. What type of servers will my website be hosted on?
Your website will be hosted on Cobalt RaQ4 and RaQ 550 servers. We also use a separate database server using Red Hat Linux for our customers who need to host MySQL databases.

2. Where are your web servers located?
Our web servers are located in the Abovenet datacenter in San Jose, CA. This is the same datacenter that hosts Google, Sun Microsystems, Classmates.com, Looksmart and many others.

3. How long does it take for my account to become active?
Once your credit card charge has been approved, your account is activated. We say to allow a maximum of 12 hours but usually it takes no more than 4-6.

4. Do you have a money back quarantee?
Yes, we offer a 14 day money back guarantee. If you are not happy with our services, you may cancel your account and receive a full refund. If, however, your account is cancelled as a result of not following our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy, no refund will be issued.

5. I am a newbie when it comes to website hosting. Will you help me?
Of course! In fact, it's so easy to use your control panel, we rarely receive support requests from our customers. If you do need help, however, we have a full support system in place to offer assistance.

6. Will you backup my site?
Yes, and no. We do overnight backups but are not responsible for any lost data. You MUST make sure you have your own backup at all times. Fortunately, this is very easy to do using your control panel.

7. Is there a set-up fee?
No! We do not have a setup fee. What you see is what you are charged. There are no hidden set up fees or charges.

8. Do you host adult sites?
I'm sorry, but we do not offer our servers for this type of hosting.
